Privacy Policy

The short version
- Your files stay on your device. The free GIF background remover, PNG to GIF converter and GIF compressor process files entirely in your browser. We never receive, see or store them.
- The AI model files are downloaded from a public CDN (Hugging Face / jsDelivr) to your browser and cached there. Only the model is downloaded; nothing about your image is sent.
- We don't use advertising cookies or sell personal data.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email and message, used only to reply to you.
- Pro accounts (when launched): email address and subscription status. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card number.
- Pro server processing (when launched): files you send to HD server AI are processed and deleted right after the result is returned (at most 1 hour). They are never used to train models.
- Analytics: if enabled, we use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics (aggregate page views and anonymous tool events such as "GIF downloaded"). No personal profiles.
- Local storage: a counter of today's free downloads is stored in your browser only.
- Server logs: our host may keep standard logs (IP address, user agent) for security for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold (for example, contact messages or a Pro account) by emailing support@giferaser.com. US residents, including California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, and EU/UK users under the GDPR can exercise these rights at any time.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
