Terms of Use & Commercial Use

1. Using the tools

GifEraser provides online tools to remove backgrounds from GIFs, convert images to GIF and compress GIFs. Free tools run in your browser. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Your content and commercial use

  • You keep all rights to the files you process. We claim no ownership of your input or output.
  • Commercial use is allowed on both the free and Pro plans: you may use the GIFs you create in commercial projects, ads, products and client work.
  • You must have the rights to the GIFs, images and videos you process. Removing a background doesn't give you rights to someone else's copyrighted content, likeness or trademark. You are responsible for how you use the output.
  • Don't use the tools to create content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that impersonates real people in a deceptive way.

3. AI output

Background removal is automated and may not be perfect. Check results before use. The tools are provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Pro plans

  • Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • The Day Pass is a one-time purchase that gives 24 hours of Pro access and does not renew.
  • "Unlimited" is subject to fair use (about 200 GIFs per month) to prevent abuse.
  • Refunds: contact us within 14 days of your first payment. See Pricing.

5. Limits and abuse

We may rate-limit or block automated or abusive use, including scraping or reselling the service without an API plan.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
